 | MY WIFE AND I FIRST TRIED THIS RESTAURANT WHEN WE HAD RECEIVED A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR CHRISTMAS FROM OUR DAUGHTER WHO IS FRIENDS WITH THE OWNER MARYANN...WHEN WE FIRST WENT THERE WE WERE TREATED JUST LIKE FAMILY.WE FELT VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE REST SPEAKS FOR ITSELF..THE FOOD WAS GREAT AS IS THE SERVICE.THE ATMOSPHERE IS VERY ROMANTIC AT TIMES.ANYONE LOOKING TO GO OUT FOR A EVENING OF GREAT FOOD,DRINK AND RELAXATION,TRY THIS RESTAURANT AT YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPOINTED.ALSO MY WIFE AND I ARE THERE JUST ABOUT EVERY WEEKEND EITHER ON SATURDAY NIGHT OR SUNDAY NIGHT BUT WE DO MAKE IT A POINT TO DINE HERE..EVERY MEAL HAS JUST BEEN EXCELLENT... | My wife and I read about this restaurant on line and thought we would check it out. We were so delighted with everything that we are booking our daughters wedding rehersal dinner there this May. We met Maryann one of the owners and loved her and her style. she is a true business woman. Her husbands food speaks for its self. This place is a true find.we will be thee this weekend again. | We're planning on coming this weekend...probably Saturday night. I was wondering if you're going to start having entertainment on Saturdays the way you do on Fridays. | Il Picasso is a wonderful new Italian restaurant on Main Ave in Clifton. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is friendly yet upscale. Soft music plays as you enjoy the type of meals that Grandma used to make. There's a charming dining room adjacent to a small but beautiful bar. The service can't be beat. They serve lunch, dinner, cocktails and have catering services. There's a large room that would be excellent to hold any type of party. Maryann is your hostess and Steve, her husband, is the chef. We had a lovely lunch the other day. It was called grigliatta caprese and it consisted of grilled eggplant, warm roasted peppers and it was topped with melted goat cheese.
